L’Atir assure, en Nouvelle-Calédonie, le suivi et le traitement de l’insuffisance rénale

C’est une association loi 1901, constituée en 1992 à l’initiative de médecins néphrologues des secteurs public et privé calédoniens.

Elle travaille avec les deux autres opérateurs locaux – le Centre hospitalier territorial Gaston Bourret (CHT) et l’Unité de néphrologie de Nouvelle-Calédonie (U2nc).

Un outil informatisé précieux :  le dossier médical de néphrologie (DMN)

L’Atir a développé une application numérique inédite en France, le dossier médical de néphrologie des patients (DMN).
Son but : améliorer la prise en charge de l’insuffisance rénale en Nouvelle-Calédonie.

Informatisé, partagé avec le CHT et l’U2nc, le DMN intègre tous les patients insuffisants rénaux du territoire.

L’Atir, une gouvernance associant secteurs public et privé

Le conseil d’administration de l’Atir illustre le partenariat entre secteurs public et privé et reflète l’étendue de son intervention dans les territoires français du Pacifique sud. Ainsi, les directions du CHT, de la clinique Kuindo-Magnin et de l’Agence de santé de Wallis et Futuna en sont membres ; également, des médecins de l’Atir et du CHT, dont l’expertise permet à l’Atir de répondre précisément aux besoins de la population.

Les caisses d’assurance maladie financent l’activité de l’Atir via des forfaits de traitement conventionnés. Notre prise en charge

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height= »0px »][vc_column_text css= » »]L’insuffisance rénale chronique évolue différemment selon les patients ; son traitement, qui vise à ralentir sa progression pour retarder le stade terminal, doit donc être adapté au profil du patient. Dans cette logique, l’Atir assure la suppléance rénale à 360°. Ainsi, ses médecins interviennent à tous les stades de la maladie chronique :

-consultation pour les patients sans épuration extra-rénale ;
-prévention pour retarder au maximum le recours à la dialyse ;
-suivi des patients en hémodialyse et dialyse péritonéale ;
-coordination pré-greffe (bilans médicaux pour identifier et accompagner les patients qui peuvent bénéficier d’une transplantation rénale).
